This school year (2026-2027), three international eTwinning projects are being carried out at our school. The projects were founded by our philosophy teacher Dr. A. Akbulut and are being run in partnership with Slovakia and Romania.
Our project teams have successfully completed the September activities of their eTwinning work.
In our eTwinning projects Girls’ Shine 3 – Empowering Narratives and Girls’ Shine 4 – Red Carpet of Achievement, our students were included in the process with parental consent forms and introduced themselves in English using Web 2.0 avatar tools. In addition, social media accounts were created to disseminate the projects.
In the Girls’ Shine 3 project, our students designed original posters presenting Syeda Ayesha Talib’s book.
In the Girls’ Shine 4 project, poster designs were prepared presenting Turkish women who have achieved national success.
School Publication Team on Duty: Within the scope of the Girls’ Shine 3 project and the activities of the Cyber Club (Siberay Club), a school publication team was formed with 11th-grade students Adil, Ezgi and Begüm. The students in the team took on important responsibilities, such as preparing news texts for the school website and identifying the authors to be featured in the project.
Since the NextGen Role Models project will begin in October, planning meetings were held with the founding partners. The date of the project’s opening meeting and the creation of the work pages were decided.
In all of our projects, student images were shared in full compliance with the Ministry of National Education (MEB) and eTwinning eSafety principles and with a focus on the activities.
We thank all our teachers and students, as well as the project publication team, for their successful and dedicated work throughout September, and we wish them continued success in our projects.
