Uluslararası Svı Kapanımı Kongresi

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to participate in the 22nd meeting of the European Current Research on Fluid Inclusions, ECROFI, to be held in Antalya, Turkey from June 5th to 9th, 2013. Antalya is located on the Mediterranean coast, in southern Turkey. It is a unique place, having many historical and modern cultural sites and areas of outstanding natural beauty.
This is the first time that the ECROFI will hold its biennial conference in Turkey with an aim of providing an important opportunity for fluid inclusionists to present their research and exchange ideas with a large number of participants. The conference will run for 3 days from the 7th to 9th of June, and prior to this we plan to run a 3 days short course from 4th to 6th of June. Details will be announced on the website in due course.

As part of the meeting there will be a 2 day fieldtrip in western Anatolia, where you will have the opportunity to visit Kisladag, Europe’s largest porphyry Au-deposit, Cukuralan, a low sulphidation epithermal Au-deposit, and the Caldag lateritic nickel deposits. One additional day will be spent in the geologically and culturally interesting region of Cappadocia (Central Anatolia) to observe world-wide famous fairy chimneys.

We sincerely hope that you will join us in making the ECROFI-XXII Conference a true success. We are looking forward to seeing you in Antalya for beautiful and unforgettable memories.
