Uluslararası Su Ürünleri Balıkçılık Araştırma Kongresi

Dear colleagues,

It is our pleasure and privilege to invite you to join ICFAR during August 08-12, 2017 in Sarajevo, Bosnia.

According to FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) the global demand for food will need to increase by 70% within 2050, and with its around 40 million metric tons of production today, the aquaculture industry has the potential of feeding an estimated world population of 9 billion people in 2050.

The Aquatic Environment is serving the world’s increasing population not only as a source for food supply, but also as energy source and development of transport routes.

The Conference will witness the participation of academicians, researchers, industry expects, policy makers and professionals in the fields of Fisheries and Aquatic Research.

The gathering will certainly pave way for necessary measures taken to overcome the problems faced by the sector and for precautions to counter issues that will arise in the future.

We hope you will enjoy the meeting and we are looking forward to welcoming you to Bosnia in 2017.
