2012 CONFERENCE ON EAST ASIA FINANCE
CRISIS AND RECOVERY OF FINANCIAL MARKETS
In conjunction with the Securities and Futures Institute (Taiwan) and the Society for the Study of Emerging Markets (USA), the Financial Academic Alliance of Taiwan invite academics, researchers and practitioners to submit papers for their presentation at the 2012 Conference on East Asia Finance on May 26-27, 2012 in Taipei. We expect to serve as a platform for academics, practitioners, as well as government officials in East Asia and all over the world to exchange ideas in both theoretical research and industrial practice. Topics of the coming conference will be based on the theme of “Crisis and Recovery of Financial Markets,” on which ideas and results in the academic research and recent developments in financial industries can be shared. Papers in all fields of finance are welcomed, but submission of papers related to crisis and recovery of financial markets is especially encouraged. The submission deadline is January 15, 2012. All papers accepted by the conference are possibly eligible for publication in special issues of the SSCI-indexed Emerging Markets Finance and Trade or the TSSCI-indexed Review of Securities and Futures Markets. A further review process will be conducted to select papers for publication in each of the two journals listed above.
