Student of the Year Award
Prepared to gather her NI Travel ‘Understudy of the Year’ honor at the Northern Ireland Travel and Tourism Awards in mid-October, Travel and Tourism graduate Katherine Wilkinson from North West Regional College (NWRC) is pleased with her accomplishment.
As Luane Quigley, Curriculum Manager in Travel and Tourism at NWRC told the Derry Journal, “Katherine is the primary understudy from Derry (Londonderry) to win the title of Student of the Year and, in the interest of the North West Regional College, I might want to praise her on this achievement.”
From living in Canada and after that coming back to Derry, Katherine is a remarkable explorer. Assigned by Quigley for this NI Travel grant, Wilkinson’s win has set off a flood of interest for other travel and tourism understudies about how to get such an accomplishment.
