Mathematics without borders

Dear Colleagues,

With this letter, we launch the first round of the tournament “Mathematics without borders”. On our webpage http://www.mathematicalmail.com you will find the rules of the tournament, the deadlines and the documents used for organising and conducting the three rounds, as well as sample tests for each age group.

The participation fee is €5 for each student. The money is used for: making of the tests, translation of the tests in English and Russian, printing the certificates of participation for each student and medals for the winners, postage fees and maintaining the website of the tournament.

Upon request by the school, the organisers will send the bank account details by email.

For the first round of the tournament please note the following deadlines:

By 11/10/2013 – all applicants must email the filled in application form ( ), together with evidence of payment of the registration fee for the students
Immediately upon receipt of the application, the organisers will send the tests in Russian and English, as well as the answer key, to the applicants.
On any day suitable for the school, between 21-27.10.2013, the schools will hold the competition.
Up to three days after the competition has been held, the schools must email the protocol with the results filled in. ()
The ranking for the first round of the tournament will be announced on the website no later than 04/11/2013.
By 07/11/2013 – the organisers will send the certificates and medals for the winners.

Nous souhaitons vous informer par ce message, le lancement du premier tour du tournoi «Les Maths sans frontières». Vous avez déjà reçu le règlement du tournoi mais vous pouvez aussi consulter notre site internet

Lors de la demande de participation, les organisateurs communiquent par mail les coordonnées bancaires pour le transfert.

A partir de maintenant jusqu’au 11/10/2013 – vous pouvez envoyer les demandes de participation par mail

Dès réception de la demande et de la participation financière, les organisateurs envoient les tests en anglais et russes, ainsi que les réponses pour la correction. Vous pouver procéder à la traduction dans votre propre langue.

L’école et/ou le collègue choisissent un jour de la période du 21 au 27 octobre 2013 pour le déroulement du tournoi.

Le procès-verbal des résultats est à envoyer par mail trois jours au plus tard après la fin du tournoi.

Le classement du premier tour du tournoi sera affichéé sur le site internet le 04/11/2013 au plus tard.

Les certificats et les médailles seront envoyés jusqu’au 07/11/2013.

Настоящим письмом объявляем начало первого тура турнира „Математика без границ“. На нашей электронной странице http://www.mathematicalmail.comразмещен регламент проведения математического турнира, указаны сроки проведения и документы, необходимые для организации проведения всех трех туров, а равно и примерные тесты, подразделенные по разным возрастным группам.

Плата за участие в турнире составляет 5 евро (€5) за каждого учащегося. Оплачиваемый взнос предназначен для: составления и перевода заданий на английском и русском языках, подготовки сертификатов всем участникам и медалей победителям, оплаты почтовых расходов на высылку сертификатов и призов и на поддержание электронной страницы турнира.

Организаторы высылают на электронную почту школы, заявившей желание участвовать в турнире, банковские реквизиты для перечисления причитающейся суммы.

Сроки проведения первого тура математическото турнира:
Последний срок подачи заполненной заявки на участие электронной почтой () с указанием банковской квитанции о перечислении платы за участие учащихся – 11 октября 2013 года.
Сразу после получения заявки на участие тесты в переводе на русском и английском языках, вместе с ключом для проверки, высылаются организаторами в адрес школ, заявивших участие в турнире.
Соревнование проводится в удобное для соответствующей школы время с 21 по 27 октября 2013 года.
Через три дня после проведения соревнования школы отправляют электронной почтой итоговый протокол ().
В срок не позднее 4 ноября 2013 года итоговые результаты первого тура турнира будут опубликованы на электронной странице.
До 7 ноября 2013 года отправляются сертификаты участникам и медали победителям.
