IYIPO 2014

Vision

What makes the IYIPO one of the leading science Olympiad  is to pick out talented students and to unite the best young inventors; bringing talented  inventors together  and to give them opportunity to demonstrate their works and projects on an international stage, enabling them to submit and present their works to the esteemed judges and experts who are well known in their field, providing the opportunity  for the young scientists to compete with their friends who hail from all over the world and ministering to build a intercultural dialogue and collaboration bridge based on mutual love, respect and understanding.

REGULATIONS

1. Projects from Mathematics, Engineering, Informatics (Computer), Chemistry, Biology and Physics are accepted to the competition.

2. The Olympiad is open to all students who are studying in grades 7 to 12.

3. Students are required to compete with only one project each year.

4. Maximum number of presenting team should be only two students accompanying with one counselor or coordinator.

5. IYIPO 2014 Organization Committee will provide accommodation (arbitrarily only at host families) and food for the competitors and supervisors for free. (Those who desires to accommodate at a hotel, must visit www.iyipo.ge

6. Participating country is required to cover all travel expenses from and to Tbilisi

7. All competitors have to have at least higher intermediate in English to present their projects.

8. The stands for the exhibition will be provided by the IYIPO Coordination Center. Size of the stand

The body Part size: 120x80cm.

The Table part size: 120×52 cm

9. Project stands will be given for each project in exhibition hall. Participating team is required to provide their own extra materials relating to project. Project stands includes display table and display board. The models or applications can be displayed on the table but printed information; posters, banners, and ads need to be shown on the board. 10. Application deadline is 17 March 2014.

11. Organization Committee holds the rights of changing rules without prior notification.

12. The countries participating in the competition are obliged to follow the rules.

13. Countries who infringe on the rules without informing may be issued warning, if the infringement continues; it may suspend from the competition.
