ICEM 2014 – Student Competition

Along with the International Conference on Energy and Management, undergraduate students will have the opportunity to present their energy related projects and win prizes. We encourage undergraduate students to submit their energy related project proposals and participate in the competition.

About
The Student Competition is open to undergraduate students with energy related projects. The aim of the competition is motivating undergraduate students to present innovative ideas through research projects.

Terms of reference
The competition is open to undergraduate student. Participants must be undergraduate students at the time of application.
Project may be individual or group (up to 3 students) work.
Students may apply with a single project only.
Project must be supervised by a professor or a field expert practitioner.
Call for projects
The project proposal must be submitted in “pdf” format to the email address icem2014@bilgi.edu.tr. Please enter “ICEM 2014 Student Competition’ in the subject of your e-mail.

The jury will evaluate project proposals and determine 5 finalists. Finalists will be required to prepare a project report and present their projects at the conference. The winner will be announced at the gala dinner.

Awards
1st place: 6,000TL, Laptop, 1-month paid summer internship opportunity at PALMET ENERJİ*
2nd place: 4,500 TL, Tablet PC, Summer internship opportunity at PALMET ENERJİ*
3rd place: 3,000 TL
4th place: 2,250 TL
5th place: 1,500 TL
The money award is for the group and other prizes are for each member of the group.

* Awardee must be a registered undergraduate student during the internship period.
