Building on last year’s Girls’ Shine project—which was awarded the Quality Label and won third place worldwide in the Women Who Change the World competition in the Education – Child Education category—our new initiative has now officially started.

The project was founded by our philosophy teacher, Dr. A. Şahin Akbulut, together with Parascovia, a teacher from Moldova. Girls’ Shine 2: Rose and Candle (Mevlana and Anila Bukhari) supports the Türkiye Century Maarif Model and aims to raise virtuous individuals who are firmly rooted in their values.

As part of the work, the influence and importance of Mevlana in the works of award-winning author Anila Bukhari will be explored. Universal values such as love for humanity and tolerance, as well as the symbolic imagery employed by these figures, will be studied.

The project brings together partners from nine countries, with English as the working language. During the online meeting held on September 10, 2025, teachers from participating countries introduced themselves and discussed the project plan, activities, and rules.

We wish our team a successful project journey
