Education Policy Seminars 5 – Randomized Evaluations: Measuring the Impact of Social Programs
Randomized Evaluations: Measuring the Impact of Social Programs
Evaluating development programs is a critical step in increasing our understanding of the types of interventions that improve people’s lives, and helps us to direct resources towards them. Through evaluation we can identify which programs are successful and just as importantly, which particular strategies have the greatest impact for which beneficiaries.
Education Reform Initiative (ERI) has invited Beniamino Savonitto, Project Director at Innovations for Poverty Action, to discuss and share his experiences on randomized controlled trials as rigorous tools to assess the effects of social programs. Please find attached the details of the event.
