We’ve come to the end of “Water is Life” eTwinning project. Turkey and Portugal were co-founders in it. There were also partners from Azerbaijan and Italy. In this project, we aimed at explaining the importance of water as a source of life and getting our students to adopt water saving habits. In this project, students drew water cycle and wrote stories about water. They had their photos taken near water resources. They made crowns for World Water Day and wore them. A seminar about water was arranged for students. They celebrated Libraries Week and exchanged bookmarks with partner schools. There were also mixed team activities in which students wrote and told stories and drew pictures. And as a final product, a joint story named “The Journey of A Water Drop” was written in sequence by partner schools. Students illustrated the stories. The journey of the water drop started in Portugal and ended in Bilecik,Turkey. At the end of the project, we had a virtual exhibition.
