Projemiz TÜBİTAK tarafından desteklendiği takdirde tarif edilen hedef grubundan seçilecek katılımcıların tüm konaklama ve iaşe giderleri proje bütçesinden karşılanacaktır.
PROJE HAKKINDA
Proje Özeti
A). Projemiz, 16-21 Ağustos 2020 tarihleri arasında, Kocaeli Bilim Merkezinde, atama bekleyen genç öğretmenlere okul dışı eğitim yaklaşımlarının öğretilmesi hedefiyle ve bu amaca uygun olarak seçilmiş 4 farklı mekanda, özel fen etkinlikleri tasarlanarak ve 4004 program amaçlarıyla örtüşen bir planlamayı hayata geçirmeyi amaçlamaktadır.
B). Proje için hedef kitle olarak eğitim fakültelerinden mezun olmuş ancak henüz atanmamış yeni mezunlar seçilmiştir. Proje kapsamı bilim merkezleri ve doğa okullarında yapılabilecek, MEB fen bilgisi ders içeriği esas alınarak hem öğrencilerin hem de yeni mezun öğretmenlerin fen becerilerini geliştirirken, fen alanındaki mevcut bilimsel bilgileri derinleştirmeyi, tartışmayı ve okul dışı uygulamalı öğretim faaliyetleriyle ilişkilendirilerek özümsenmesine odaklanılmış bir proje kapsamı tasarlanmıştır.
C). Proje yöntemi okul dışı öğrenme yaklaşım ve yöntemleri ile uygulamalı eğitim ağırlıklı etkinlikler ile katılımcılarda fen becerileri sağlamak şeklinde oluşturulmuştur. Küresel Covid-19 pandemisiyle beraber okullarda ve tüm kapalı mekanlardaki eğitim öğretim faaliyetlerine zorunlu olarak ara verilmesiyle öğrencilerin öğrenme ihtiyaç ve eğitsel süreçleri aksamıştır. Yeni kuşağın fen kültür ihtiyacı ve bilişsel gelişimi için elzem olan eğitim-öğretim faaliyetleri, öğretmenler, okullar ve EBA platformu gibi çözümler kadar okul dışı ve mesafeli öğrenme faaliyetleriyle de sosyal ihtiyaçlar düşünülerek yürütülmesi gereklidir. Projemizde bilim merkezi, açık alanlar, doğal yaşam alanları gibi okul dışı ortamlarda, etkin öğrenme faaliyetleri yürütmek amaçlanmıştır. Hafifleyen pandemi ve sonrasında, öğretmenlerde okul dışı becerilerin önceden geliştirilmiş olması akılcı bir yaklaşım olacaktır. Proje hedef grubu öğretmenlerin okul dışı öğrenme faaliyetlerine teşvik edilmesi kritik bir öneme sahip olup çalışmaya başladıklarında etkileyecekleri meslektaşları ile çevrelerindeki bireyler ile öğrencilerin okul dışı faaliyetleri evlerinde ya da okulda açık bir bölgede kurgulayarak uygulamalı eğitim öğretim faaliyetlerini kendi imkanları ile yürütebilmesi bu proje çıktıları açısından değerli ve uzun vadeli bir katkı olabilecektir. Hedef kitle aracılığı ile okul dışı öğrenme becerilerinin toplumda kabul görmesi projeli öğrenme, girişimcilik, sorgulama, araştırma, gezi gözlem yaparak öğrenmeyi destekleyeceği düşünülmekte, bu yönüyle projenin ayrıcalıklı bir katkı yaratacağı beklenmektedir.

Science Education Practices in Outdoor Learning Environments in Kocaeli
Project Summary
A). The Project will be held on between 16-21 August with the objectives of 4004 program in 4 different places selected for the purpose with the aim of outdoor learning school science education approaches to young teachers waiting for assignment in Kocaeli Science Center.
B). The target audience for this Project is the teachers who have just graduated from education faculties but have not yet assigned. The scope is focusing on developing science skills of both students and newly graduated teachers, based on the basis of the science course content of the Ministry of National Education, while deepening, discussing and assimilating existing scientific knowledge in the field of science by associating it with applied teaching activities out of the school like nature schools and science centers.
C). The project method was created in the form of providing science skills to the participants with out-of-school learning approaches and methods and activities based on practical education. With the global Covid-19 pandemic, the learning needs and educational processes of the students were interrupted by the mandatory interruption of education activities in schools and all indoor spaces. Educational activities, which are important for the cognitive development of the new generation, should be carried out with out-of-school and distance learning activities such as teachers, schools and the EBA platform, considering the social needs. It is aimed to carry out effective learning activities in out-of-school environments such as science centers and open spaces like natural habitats. During the slowdown of the pandemic and its afterwards, it would be a rational approach for teachers to develop extracurricular skills beforehand. It is critical that teachers are encouraged to participate in learning activities out of school. The colleagues and the students will be influenced by the teachers when they start working, and the students’ extracurricular activities in an open areas and creating practical educational activities with their own means will be a valuable and long-term contribution in terms of these project outputs. It is expected with the acceptance of this Project, out-of-school learning skills of the teachers in the society will support research, questioning and learning abilities and make a privileged contribution to the area.
