The iChange video competition, launched by [ ]Connect4Climate in collaboration with [ http://www.televisionet.tv ]TVN Televisionet, is inviting students from across the globe to create sharp 30-second video messages about climate change.
The videos should tell a story to help raising awareness about climate change, promote action, offer new solutions, and inspire change.
The competition is open to individuals and teams (of up to 5 people) of all countries of the world.
Individuals and teams are limited to one entry each; however, an individual who is a member of a team may also enter a different entry on his or her individual behalf.
Eligibility
Participants submitting video entries must be between 18 and 35 years old.
They must be enrolled in a university or other equivalent educational institution at the time of submission.
The video needs to be clear, original and creative in order to inspire change and have broad appeal to diverse audiences.
Video submissions are required to conform to time limits, with a maximum length of 30 seconds.
Entries may be recorded in any language, but English or French subtitles are highly encouraged.
Prizes
The iChange grand prize winner will receive a € 5000 scholarship.
The other four finalists will win a € 2000 scholarship and a trip to Milan at the International GrandPrix Advertising Strategies event on the 29th May 2013.
They will be all selected by a jury of film, advertising and academic professionals, and the winning video will be featured at film festivals in Cannes, New York, and Beijing.
