The 2013 International Communication Students Congress

Media, Youth and Their Future

28-29 March 2013

The 2013 International Communication Students Congress (ICSC) Local Organizing Committee at Maltepe University is delighted to announce the opening call for papers for the ‘Media, Youth and their Future’ undergraduate students conference to be held at the Marma Congress Centre, Maltepe University, Istanbul, on 28-29 March 2013.

Media has a crucial role in the lives of young people. This role is sometimes controversial and sometimes affects young people’s lives while creating a positive contribution. This bi-directional role of the media, youth representation and influence of the media in terms of youth development provides a very important resource for debates in society and academic research. The purpose of this congress is to discuss the role of the media with an important public of users and, increasingly, producers of media: young people.

Undergraduate students from Turkey and the rest of world will have the opportunity to share their perspectives in a stimulating debate at the ICSC 2013 and we invite you to explore this website in order to view the full call for papers, the important dates, the congress venue/accommodation, the programme, the full papers requirements, travel information, and all the details for this event.

If you have any further question, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us at [email protected]

Looking forward to welcome you to Istanbul in March!
