Story Sharing Web Conference

Story Sharing Web Conference Saturday 9th – Sunday 10th February 2013

Telling, Reading, Sharing…Unlock your students’ imaginations!

We believe that stories are not just for testing and assessing students’ knowledge of the English language. We believe that stories should be read, told, shared and loved. If you think the same way, join the 1st British Council Turkey Story Sharing Web Conference!

Short stories, readers, novels, poems, anecdotes, folk stories, graphic novels, drama, jokes, teacher generated stories, student generated stories…even rap. We aim to give English language teachers tools to develop not just a tolerance of but genuine enjoyment and appreciation of all these genres…To enrich students’ experience of learning English both inside and outside the classroom.

This 1,5 day web conference will include a range of innovative intearctive sessions from Turkish and overseas experts actively involving teachers from all over the country in real-time.
