STEM training is important for the purposes of having great steps towards industrialization in countries, having a say in the competition in the world market, gaining economic advantage, and educating qualified individuals in existing and future new generation business areas.

For this reason, the importance of STEM education is given to the training of STEM literate students from kindergarten to university and that these students are employed according to their individual competences in industry and industry; countries should be important targets in terms of industrial and economic development.

In our age, where information and technology change and develop rapidly every second, it is indisputable that individuals with qualified labor force should have scientific competences in mathematics and science. However, as long as these scientific competences do not combine with the applicability of technology and engineering, they will not be able to respond to future expectations and problems of people.

The aim of STEM education, which is the source of scientific data, science and mathematics and their application fields of technology and engineering, is to integrate these four disciplines together, to develop students’ problem solving skills with a holistic and positive perspective, to create creativity and to obtain products. To obtain the said STEM gains is only possible through educators equipped with the necessary competencies in this field.

In the ever-evolving and changing world, classical education methods will be insufficient to meet these needs, as the 21st century countries and their people will have different concerns about competition, education and school. In this context, teachers;
