STEM Education School Clubs

As is known, the aim of the Scientix Project is to promote student-centered interdisciplinary STEM training in schools to expose students’ inquiry, research, production and invention skills and interests. The Scientix Portal is available at http://scientix.eu. The European School Network – Our General Directorate, representing our Ministry in the Scientix Project run by European Schoolnet, is the National Support Point of the Scientix Project since 2014 with 30 European countries.

Within the scope of Scientix Project, STEM Training Workshops are organized in various provinces. As a result of these workshops, it was determined that the activities of STEM Education Club should be extended in line with the Regulation on Social Activities of Primary and Secondary Education Institutions of the Ministry of National Education No. 2569 in order to realize STEM education project activities more effectively in our schools. STEM training projects based on interdisciplinary interrogation, research, production and invention for the purpose of directing students to science and engineering during the extracurricular hours of the teachers working in pre-primary, primary and secondary schools, general high schools and vocational and technical high schools.

STEM Training It is considered that it is necessary to create STEM Training Clubs in our schools in order to develop project-based learning, inquiry-based learning and learning activities for students’ interests and abilities in line with the suggestions regarding the project processes and STEM education learning environments.
