Beykent University Strategic Research Center (BUSRC) invites proposals for individual papers or complete sessions/panels for its annual 4 th BUSRC Symposium on Strategic and Security Studies to be held on April 14, 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey. All proposals for papers, sessions, and panels should be summitted before March 05, 2011.

APPLICATION INFORMATION
All applications should include:
1. The paper/session/panel title
2. A Short abstract including methodology, main assumptions and conclusions of paper (300 words maximum)
3. Author/participant name(s) and institutional affiliations
4. A one paragraph biographical statement of each participant (not a detailed CV)
5. Author/participant e-mail addresses (essential), telephone and fax numbers
6. Any audio-visual equipment requests (if applicable)

SYMPOSIUM TIMETABLE
January 30, 2011: Final Date for Submission of Abstracts
February 13, 2011: Notification of Acceptance of Abstracts
March 05, 2011: Final Date for Submission of Full Papers
March 19, 2011: Notification of Acceptance of Full Papers Refereed Papers to Authors for Revision
March 19, 2011: Last day for pre-registration (A late registration fee will be charged after this date)
April 09, 2011: Final date for submission of papers and for confirmation of participation
April 14, 2011: Symposium and On Site Registrations
VENUE
The Symposium will be held at Taksim Campus of Beykent Univesity in ISTANBUL.
SCHEDULE
The Symposium will begin on Thursday April 11, 2011 at 09.30 a.m., and end at 18.00.
