Scientix has launched three new exciting competitions for science teachers!
STEM DISCOVERY WEEK
Winners of the competitions will be invited to a Science Projects Workshop at the Future Classroom Lab in Brussels 23 to 25 June 2017.
Teachers can prepare and submit their contributions to two of the competitions before the deadline 23 April 2017!
The “Make your own poster” competition expects teachers to create posters that are based on their favourite Scientix resources. Those posters will be put up for a public vote for the duration of the STEM Discovery Week between 24 and 30 April 2017.
Teachers can “Organise a STEM event” for the STEM Discovery Week between 24 and 30 April 2017, either by using the new “Professionals Go Back To School” scheme of the STEM Alliance project to organise events with industry professionals or carrying out any other activity dedicated to a subject in STEM education.
Last but not least, the third competition is connected to the World Book Day on 23 April 2017. Scientix will ask its 358 Ambassadors for suggestions for eight great science books. Selected books will be made official on 4 April. And for the duration of the STEM Discovery Week, teachers can share ideas for classroom activities based on those books in an open forum. Scientix will reward the best ideas expressed!
