Objectives
The mini school will consist of a series of 5 courses (3 hours each) given by specialists in the area. The lectures will be in english. The target public are graduate students, already familiar with Commutative Algebra and/or Algebraic Geometry. Researchers working on singularities or related areas are also welcome.

Herwig Hauser (Universität Wien, Austria)
Title: Blowups and resolution of singularities.
The participants are invited to have a prior reading of Prof. Hauser’s article with the same title, available on this webpage.

Title: Intersection theory on valuation spaces and applications.
