MEFELO (MEF University English Language Olympics) is more than just a competition—it’s where words meet, talent shines, and future leaders of communication emerge. Organized annually by the English Language Teaching Department, MEFELO has been empowering high school students since 2019. Its mission is to cultivate a passion for language learning, promote effective communication, and highlight the significance of English in academic and professional success. By providing a platform for students across Türkiye to challenge themselves in vocabulary, grammar, listening, speaking, and (intralingual) translation, MEFELO fosters language awareness in an engaging and competitive environment. Online Test of MEFELO’25
Our sponsor, Burlington VTest, offers an online English academic exam that evaluates MEFELO’25 participants’ proficiency in the four core language skills: Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing. The assessment follows the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), ensuring internationally recognized language level certification.
