International Semiconductor Science & Technology Conference

Dear Colleague,

It is our great pleasure to invite you for the “International Semiconductor Science and Technology Conference” (ISSTC-2014) organized by Department of Engineering Physics of Istanbul Medeniyet University. The conference is to be held at 13-15 January 2014 in Istanbul, Turkey.

This will be the 1st of our International Conference Series on Semiconductor Science and Technology. Today, research on semiconductor science and technology has been becoming even more widespread while the applications have become more integrated to the daily life. Concordantly, observing the increased number of participants to the similar conferences in Turkey, we are expecting more than 250 participants to our organization. Furthermore, we will have a very exclusive group of invited speakers including many prominent researchers of the field.

The conference venue will be at the Cevahir Hotel – Maltepe, which is very close to the Marmara seaside and appropriate for the scientific and social interaction.

Members of the international scientific and engineering communities interested in recent developments in semiconductor materials and related technologies are invited to attend the Conference and contribute to its technical sessions.

The purpose of the conference is to create an environment for scientific and technological discussions and exchange ideas between academia and industry on fundamental aspects of characterization, manipulation, production and usage of semiconductor materials and devices.

The main themes to be covered by the ISSTC 2014 conference are summarized as follows:

The official language of the ISSTC 2014 conference is English.

ISSTC conference will be held internationally in every two years aiming to merge and introduce new ideas in semiconductor technology by improving collaboration between experts and researchers. The peer review process will be done by reviewers that are experts in at least one aspect of the presentations.
