International ITU Molecular Biology and Genetics Student Congress’17
Dear Guests,
As an Undergraduate Student Union called “Istanbul Technical University Molecular Biology and Genetics Student Club”, we will hold the “International ITU Molecular Biology and Genetics Student Congress’17” in Istanbul between October 6th-8th, 2017.
The purpose of this conference is to bring together scientists, who are doing high quality research in different areas of Molecular Biology and Genetics, and students who are actively studying in these areas to facilitate interaction and communication between these groups. Furthermore, this meeting also aims to expand scientific activities in Molecular Biology and Genetics and to contribute to the current knowledge in the field
Since 2007, we have been the host for ITU I., II. III. IV. National and V.,VI., VII., VIII., IX. International Molecular Biology and Genetics Student Congress and have covered a distance guiding the science of Molecular Biology and Genetics. Now, we would like to prolong this success through execution of this year’s meeting.
In this year, we will have 6 different sessions. The sessions are:
Session I- GENE THERAPY
Session II- PERSONALIZED MEDICINE
Session III- NEUROSCIENCE
Session IV-EPIEGENETICS
Session V- SYNTHETIC BIOLOGY
Session VI- DEVELOPMENT BIOLOGY
The day of each session will be determined according to convenient time interval for the presenter during October 6th -8th and therefore, please inform us about your appropriate schedule.
The meeting has been organized with guidance and support of our club advisor, Assist. Prof. Dr. Aslı Kumbasar, and professors in our department. To expand this support, we wish to constitute a “Scientific Committee” of distinguished scientists and professors from other university and research institutes.
