ICEM 2014 invites academicians, scientists, institutions and companies conducting research or business in the energy field/sector to attend and/or to contribute to the conference by submitting an abstract.
The language of the conference is English.
Abstracts will be evaluated by the scientific committee.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings book.
Full text of selected papers will be published in a book under the name of the conference.
During the conference undergraduate students will have the opportunity to present their energy related projects and win prizes. The announcement for the student competition will be done separately.
About
The venue for the “International Conference on Energy and Management”, will be the main (Santral) campus of Istanbul Bilgi University which is located at the bank of the ancient golden horn, Istanbul.
There will be no conference attendance fee.
The number of participants is limited and will be based on the priority of time of pre-registration.
Conference materials, refreshments and lunches will be full sponsored by PALMET ENERJİ Incorporation.

The 1st centennial of the activation of the first power generation plant of Istanbul which is located on the campus and serves today as the Energy Museum,
The 30th anniversary of PALMET ENERJİ Incorportation, and
The year of the very first graduation from Istanbul Bilgi University Energy Systems Engineering Department.
The aim of this event is to gather researchers working in the field of energy and the public or private companies performing on the energy sector to share their knowledge on the recent trends, scientific developments, innovations and the energy management methods.
