15TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE EDUCATIONAL REFORM IN THE 21ST CENTURY IN BALKAN COUNTRIES

28-30 June 2012

Bucharest-Romania

The BALKAN SOCIETY FOR PEDAGOGY AND EDUCATION and UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH-EAST EUROPE LUMINA are honoured to invite you to the 15th International Conference which takes place in Bucharest, Romania from June 28 to June 30, 2012.

Education is like a living organism, if it does not grow and develop (if there is no evolution) it dies. The life and the progress of education are provided by reform and innovation. Without being wrong, one can say that the history of education is the history of reforms which gave it a modern look.

In this context, any discussion about the past achievements, present needs and future educational reforms offers the advantage of a plus of understanding and wisdom.

Today, in a world marked by globalization and accelerated changes, this need of understanding and wisdom is deeper felt than ever. Therefore education has to be in consonance with the rapid changes taking place in the different components of the society in order to support the sustainability of it.
