If a project is registered on www.infomatrix.ro
A set of experts will go through the submitted projects and decide which ones do qualify for the world finals.
Failure to upload documentation or uploading poor quality of documentation may also result in disqualification as this is the primary means of identifying the quality of a project. A good documentation should include a description of the project, list of hardware and software used, name of people involved in preparation, timeline of the project, problems faced during preparation and how they have been solved, sketches etc.)
Failure to upload a part of or whole of the project itself may result in disqualification.
Qualified projects for the world finals will be announced on our web site.
Projects registered in Robotics category are directly qualified and expected to show up in the world finals. However, it is participants’ responsibility to build the robot according to the given criteria. Failure to meet any criteria in this category may result in disqualification of the project. This check will be done during the competition.
What do I do if my project is qualified for the world finals?
Before coming to Romania
Infomatrix is not just about promoting professional excellence; it also serves to promote intercultural dialogue and cooperation. In this regard, we encourage participants to bring along their cultural costumes to wear during the competition. Explicit dresses are not allowed.
It is essential that participants print brochures, documentations and sketches to be given to visitors before coming for the world finals.
Participants must bring along all the hardware and software required for their project.
Participants are expected to design their own booth to display their project and thus make sure all the materials (e.g. posters, flags, brochures, documents, cultural food etc.; anything that can help promote your project and your culture) are ready before coming to the world finals.
Each team is expected to hand out some form of documentation to help the jury to identify their project. The hand outs should not contain repetitions or prolongations. It should be concise and focused on the subject, and not having omissions. Participants can use any of the materials mentioned above for this purpose.
Participants should prepare for a presentation (presentation is a generic term here and does not necessarily refer to a PowerPoint presentation) for the jury. Each team will be given approximately 15 min. Time your presentation and allow questions from the jury.
