III. Uluslararası Çatışma, Terörizm ve Toplum Konferansı

Kadir Has Üniversitesi İletişim Fakültesi, 15-16 Nisan 2014 tarihleri arasında geleneksel olarak üçüncüsünü gerçekleştireceği Uluslararası Çatışma, Terörizm ve Toplum Konferansı’na, “Yeni Medya Politikaları: Çatışma, Aktivizm ve Güvenlik ” ana başlığı altında ev sahipliği yapacak.

Yeni medya teknolojileri, güvenlik, gizlilik, terörizm ve aktivizm dahil olmak üzere hayatımızın her alanında önemli etkilere sahiptir. Günümüzde gizlilik konusunda kaygılar gitgide artarken, siber aktivizm ve siber terörizm gibi terörizmin ve aktivizmin yeni formları da ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu gelişmeler, geleneksel aktivizm, terörizm ve güvenlik konularının da sorgulanmasını beraberinde getirmektedir. ICCTS Konferansı yeni medya ve ilgili disiplinlerle birlikte terör, çatışma ve toplum arasındaki bağlantıyı daha iyi açıklayabilmek için yeni fikirleri gündeme getirmeyi amaçlamaktadır.

ICCTS 2014 Konferansı’na hedef kitle çalışmaları, güvenlik, uluslarararası ilişkiler, siyasi iletişim, mobil ve dijital teknolojiler, uluslararası iletişim, medya hukuku ve küresel medya politikaları gibi çok çeşitli alanlarda çalışan akademisyen ve araştırmacılar katılacaktır. Kuzey ve Latin Amerika, Avrupa, Orta Doğu, Afrika ve Asya’dan 15’in üzerinde ülke konferansta temsil edilmektedir.
