Online Human Rights Video Contest run by the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey
The EU Delegation to Turkey has launched a video contest for young film-makers on how they view and perceive Human Rights issues around them.
We are calling on the Turkish public, -and in particular but not limited to- all Journalism, Public Relations, Cinema, TV, Audiovisual production and Media students in Turkey to create films of their own on Human Rights.
Here’s an opportunity to share with the world and with other young people like YOU, just what Human Rights mean to you, your friends, your family or community.
Your ideas, your story, your views
The competition is looking for participants who will focus on human rights issues affecting people locally or globally.
Use your creativity and originality to describe (in film) how Human Rights issues affect you or your community. Share your thoughts, address problems and suggest your ideas. If you have a story to tell, we’re ready to watch and listen. Videos must be your original work.

Upload on your YouTube account
Upload your video on your own YouTube channel and fill out the registration form you will find at the link below. If you don’t have a YouTube account, you can create one at http://www.youtube.com/create_account
Your video
Videos should be no longer than five (5) minutes in length. They must not contain offensive or inappropriate language or content. Use your creativity, with or without words, to share your opinion. If you decide to use words which are not in Turkish or English languages, please add subtitles in Turkish and English. How this will work?
Submissions must be in by November 6, 2013 at 17:00pm (Turkey time). Entries submitted after this date will not be considered. Videos cannot be modified after the deadline. A jury will be appointed of people working in the audiovisual sector, in human rights advocacy, and in promoting cultural events. The jury will make a selection of ten (10) short films –based on Creativity, Educational Value, Entertainment Value and Quality of Direction- and announce finalists by November 15, 2013. Finalists will be released simultaneously on the same day on the dedicated YouTube Competition Channel (to be announced) and their “viralness” will be calculated by You Tube hits up to 29 November 2013 17:00 (Turkey time). Online voting will determine the top three short films and three prizes will be awarded to three entrants that create and promote the best viral video about Human Rights. The winners will be awarded prizes at the opening ceremony of Human Rights Film Days on 6 December, 2013. The EU Delegation to Turkey will contact the winners after the announcement of the results on December 2, 2013 on the EU Delegation Website www.avrupa.info.tr.
Eligibility rules
You are above 18 years old and resident in Turkey.
Your video is a maximum five minutes in length (or 300 seconds) and addresses an issue of Human Rights!
Videos which are not in English or Turkish include subtitles in one of these languages. (Videos without narration (silent videos) are also accepted.)
And you filled in the online registration form that includes the link to your video on your Youtube Channel and submitted it to us.
You have respected the deadline for submission is 6 November 2013 at 17:00 (Turkey time).
…and you are good to go.
What about the Prizes?
First prize: HD Video Camera and video editing software (equivalent of €1,500)
Second prize: HD Video Camera (equivalent of €1000)
Third prize: Tablet PC/Netbook and Video Editing Software (equivalent of €750)

Yasal konular
Filmin yapımcısı telif hakkı sahibi ya da bu yarışma için malzeme kullanmak için bir lisans olmadıkça sunulan filmde telif hakkı malzeme kullanımı (müzik, resim, vb), izin verilmez. Avrupa Birliği Delegasyonu sunulan çalışmaları ile ilgili olarak hiçbir sorumluluk kabul etmez.
Yapımcılar işin doğruluğunu sorumludur. Yapımcılar ayrıca sözleşmeli değil ya da bu kurallarda belirtildiği gibi, Avrupa Birliği Delegasyonu verilen hakların ihlal veya ihlal taahhütleri her türlü sözleşme olacağını beyan.
Avrupa Birliği Delegasyonu olası intihal ya da mevcut mevzuatın diğer ihlal için herhangi bir sorumluluk kabul etmez.

İngilizce veya Türkçe olmayan videolar bunlardan biri altyazı içerir. (Anlatım (sessiz video) olmadan Videolar da kabul edilmektedir.)
Ve Youtube Kanal üzerinde video bağlantısını içeren çevrimiçi kayıt formunu doldurup bize teslim.
Sen sunulması için son tarih saat 17:00 ‘de 6 Kasım 2013 (Türkiye saati ile)’ dir saygı var.
Her takım ya da bireysel bir ya da iki kısa film sunabilirler.
Her film kendi kayıt formu ile birlikte verilmesi gerekmektedir.
Giriş alabilmek için eksiksiz olmalıdır.
Operasyonel konularda
Girişler veya komut dosyası, makro, bot, ticari yarışma abonelik tarafından oluşturulan oy, ödenen oy, satın alma oy, oy, oy-takas siteleri için ödenen reklamlar, oy yazılım, herhangi bir şekilde giren hizmet siteleri ya da başka bir otomatik araç ve girişleri veya oy giriş / oylama süreci engellemek ya da bu Resmi Kuralların ruhuna uygun olmayan giriş / oy geçersiz olur ve katılımcı / takım diskalifiye olacaktır.
En çok oyu ile kısa film kazanan kabul edilecektir. Iki ya da üç film oy aynı sayıda alırsanız, jüri kendi takdirine bağlı olarak, son kararı verecek. Jüri kararı nihaidir.
Yanlış “viralness” bir görünüm oluşturmak için herhangi bir girişim giren diskalifiye olacak
“Viralness” rakip arkadaşlar, aile, toplum, okul vb içerebilir
Kampanya teşvik etmek amacıyla, katılımcılar Avrupa Birliği Delegasyonu bildirim veya bir tazminat ödemeden reklam, tanıtım ve promosyon amaçlı isimlerini, fotoğraflarını, ifadeler, tırnak, referanslar ve video gönderimleri kullanma hakkını vermek.
Katılımcılar ayrıca Avrupa Birliği Delegasyonu katılımcıya bir tazminat veya bildirimde bulunmadan giren proje video kullanımı yeniden, yeniden yazdırın, dağıtmak, gerçekleştirmek, ve / veya görüntülemek için doğru vermek.
Avrupa Birliği Delegasyonu konferanslarda, ya da başka mekanlarda,, yeniden yeniden yazdırın, dağıtmak, gerçekleştirmek, görüntülemek veya tanıtım için proje sergilemek doğru, ve kendi web sitesinde tanıtım amacı vardır.
Türkiye Avrupa Birliği Delegasyonu açıkça katılımcılar bu giriş Kurallar ve Koşullar ya da karşılık gelen bir nedeni ya da şüphe durumunda ihlal ederseniz video hariç hakkı saklıdır.
