The ISCB-RSG Turkey Student Symposium’12 will be held as a satellite meeting to HIBIT’12 in Cappadocia in April 19, 2012. Established recently, RSG-Turkey is an organization for students, post-docs and young researchers in the fields of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics in Turkey. In this first symposium, participants will have the chance to meet their colleagues, introduce their research interests to a young audience and interact with other computational biologists. We would like to invite you to participate and present your work in “ISCB-RSG Turkey Student Symposium’12”, either in an oral or a poster presentations (*) on the following topics (not limited to):

• Computational Neuroscience

A keynote speech, followed by student presentations and a poster session will take place during the symposium. We will also have a speed science session in which each attendee has 2 minutes to describe themselves and their research to the audience. This is a great opportunity to build a network with other people and to introduce themselves to the community. * Participants who will give an oral or poster presentation must prepare an abstract which is limited to 250 words and send it to [email protected] before March 16,2012. Due to the time constraints, number of oral presentations are limited to 6 (15 minutes per talk and will be selected by scientific committee). Posters must be in 95 cm height, 75 cm width in portrait orientation with the desired format and style. For any questions please email us.
