In the framework of the YO!Fest, taking place on 30th and 31st May 2013 in Brussels, Belgium, the European Youth Forum is organising a film – photography competition on the theme of “Investing in Youth”.
Young people up to 25 years old, living in Europe, are invited to submit photographs or a video capturing essential elements about the importance of investing in youth.
The aim is to raise awareness on the importance of investing in youth as well as reach out to a wider audience, to provide a place for young people to present their work and to exchange views and create new discussions on the topic.
Applicants will have to upload a video of 3 to maximum 5 minutes or a photo to the [ http://www.loveyouthfuture.eu ]LoveYouthFuture online platform .
The authors of the best artistic projects will be invited to the YO!Fest to present their work and take part to a round table gathering the different elements of these projects.
There will be three different events:
• Award Ceremony for Top 5 Projects and Unveiling of Photography Exhibition
• Separate slots for the participants to present their videos/photos in public.
• Final Artistic discussion on the common themes of the projects.
Deadline to submit entries is 18th April 2013.

The 2013 Yo!Fest is organised by the European Youth Forum and will celebrate the European Union’s Youth Programmes’ 25th Anniversary, along with the launch of the League of Young Voters.
