The CHEER-Nutrition (Civic Health Efficient Education Responsible Nutrition) eTwinning project, conducted between February and May 2025, brought together schools from Türkiye, Portugal, Romania, Lebanon, Poland, and Georgia. The project was co-founded by Akşehir Science and Art Center (Türkiye) and Agrupamento de Escolas Gonçalo Sampaio (Portugal), with the participation of Alaşehir Emine Elem Kayacık Secondary School from Türkiye, Smaranda Dumitru Roman Secondary School and Secondary School No. 1 Barcea from Romania, Zespół Szkolno-Przedszkolny from Poland, Riad AlSolh Public School from Lebanon, and Adzvi Public School from Georgia.
A wide range of activities were carried out throughout the project, including an online seminar with a dietitian, introductions of traditional healthy snacks, an AI-supported podcast series, a seasonal food calendar, and creative student tasks such as slogans, puzzles, comics, tongue twisters, and hologram videos.
Students also visited farms and agricultural schools to observe sustainable farming practices and interviewed local experts. The project addressed global goals such as food literacy, zero hunger, and responsible production and consumption.
CHEER-Nutrition empowered students to become conscious consumers, active citizens, and architects of a healthier future.
