British Council Turkey is looking for experts for EU funded projects.
The British Council is currently pursuing a number of EU-funded opportunities in Turkey that require international and Turkish long-term consultants to act as Team Leaders and Key Experts in the areas of:
Education (including vocational education)
Social Inclusion
Social Development
Employment
Civil Society
Gender
Communication
Precise requirements will vary with the scope and duration of individual projects. All appointments are subject to contracts being awarded to the British Council via competitive tendering exercises.
Interested candidates should have the following qualifications, skills and professional experience:
Substantial consultancy experience working in one or more of the above areas on international technical assistance projects, preferably EU funded projects
A relevant university degree or postgraduate qualification
Project management skills and a proven ability to work as part of a team
Excellent command of spoken and written English
Knowledge of EU directives (legislation, implementing regulations, etc.) in the above-mentioned areas
Experience of working in Turkey and knowledge of relevant issues and institutions would be an asset
