BAHÇEŞEHİR UNIVERSITY in collaboration with Georgia State University (Atlanta, GA, US) and Ege University

The Fourth International Conference on New Trends in Education with a theme “Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL)” aims to provide a platform for teachers, educators, researchers, leaders and visionaries from schools, universities, businesses, industries and other private and public agencies to share and discuss their innovative experiences, practices, research initiatives and outcomes. With the help of this conference, the practical aspects of theoretical perspectives and the right connections of CLIL with every aspect of language teaching will be discussed and eventually lead to invaluable contributions to the field. The conference presentations, panels and workshops will be in English since both national and international presenters and audience are kindly invited to attend and contribute to this unique event. The event is expected to trigger insights about how a variety of topics enlisted in K-12 curriculum might be integrated into not only K-12 but also adult English language teaching programs and eventually new projects, research, colaboration and other joint ventures among all invited parties.

Conference participants are invited to send proposals that correspond to the conference theme and strands.
A proposal can be submitted for:

● Individual paper presentation: 40 minutes including discussion. Individual papers will be grouped into larger symposia by theme.
● Workshop: 60 minute hands on classroom practices are presented which will be followed by whole group discussions
● Interactive Poster presentation: Selected posters will be displayed, and sessions will be set up for conference participants to interact with poster presenters.

Deadline for sending proposals : 06 October 2017 (Friday)
Deadline for accepting/rejecting proposals : 23 October 2017 (Monday)
Deadline for Early Bird Registrations : 23 October 2017 (Monday)
Deadline for Registration : 10 November 2017 (No on-site registration)
