Presentation participation
Individuals who wish to participate in the 40th International Physical Congress of the Turkish Physical Society with an oral or poster presentation must register using this form and upload their abstracts using the same form to submit their abstracts. Abstracts will not be accepted via e-mail other than this form.
Important note: The language of the paper and the presentation is English. A paper may only be uploaded by the person who will present it. The invitation letter, name badge and certificate will only be prepared for the person uploading the document and will not be prepared for second, third, etc. persons. Certificates will be issued in the name of the presenter and will be emailed after the presentation date.
Other contributors to the paper should register as listeners for the Congress if they are not presenting a paper themselves.
The abstracts submitted by participants who wish to participate in the 40th International Congress of Physics of the Turkish Physical Society with an oral or poster presentation will be reviewed by the “TFD-40 Review Committee”. Submitted paper abstracts will be reviewed by at least two (2) reviewers following a “blind review” process where the reviewers will not know the identity of the author of the paper.
Papers will be included in the congress programme and scheduled for presentation according to the arrangements of the organising committee if they are deemed suitable following the peer review process.
Abstracts will be reviewed by at least two (2) reviewers from the Review Committee after the submission deadline and will be included in the Congress programme and scheduled according to the arrangements of the Organising Committee, if deemed appropriate. These arrangements will be announced on our congress website http://tfd40.org.
Papers accepted for oral/poster presentation by the Review Committee will be included in the prepared abstract book. However, those who do not pay the registration fee by the specified deadline will have their work removed from the congress programme and will not be included in the abstract book.

Oral presentations considered by the Scientific Committee may be judged as poster presentations.
Oral presentations will be limited to 12 minutes + 3 minutes for discussion and will take place in 5 separate rooms divided by topic, the schedule of which presentation will take place in which room will be provided in the programme. Oral presentations must be prepared using Microsoft PowerPoint on media such as flash drives.
For poster presentations, a space of 100 cm in height and 70 cm in width will be allocated. It is recommended that posters are printed in colour on a single sheet of photo paper/vellum/regular paper to fit the maximum dimensions. The day for poster presentations will also be indicated in the programme.
