Izmir University of Economics organizes a biannual conference attended by researchers and professionals interested in higher education and educational technologies. We are pleased to invite you to the 1st International Conference on Educational Theory and Research – ICETR 2016: Transitions in Higher Education to be held at the Balçova Campus of Izmir University of Economics on the 11-13 February 2016.

Call for Papers
The conference offers an international and, in particular, interdisciplinary platform to encourage debate, reflection, and the exchange of experience and the good practice in the fields of higher education. The focus is particularly on new developments, technologies and approaches at both the national and international level. Such an environment promoting the exchange of ideas has the potential to benefit the quality of teaching-learning process and create greater sustainability in higher education.
The expertise provided by specialists, academicians, researchers and professionals will not only stimulate in-depth discussions, but also allow an analysis of implications of new technologies and life long learning.
The Organization Committee of the 1st ICETR and the İzmir University of Economics wish to welcome her researchers, academics, educators, teaching staff, post-graduates and related agents involved in teaching and training in professional skills.
PUBLICATION:
All the accepted full papers are going to be published in the Abstracts and Proceedings CD-ROM (e-book) with an ISBN number and will be given to the participants on the conference day.
ICETR2016 Abstracts and Proceedings will also be included in Google Scholar.
