Dear Colleagues,
The time machine is ready to launch its 16th ANNUAL ÇEVRE ELT CONFERENCE on 22nd February 2020 to Design the Future of ELT.
Have you ever considered where all these new inventions are taking us? What is their impact on the new generation and how in turn it affects us, the Teachers? As educators we need to know how to leverage our vision to design the future in our English language class and become a brand. ‘The generation is constantly changing’ means we need to ensure the road we pave by foreseeing and practising next-generation teaching habits.
In order to cultivate what we have planted; it is essential to make some alterations in our methods and approaches. We need to push beyond basic recall of content and instead engage in productive struggle and deeper levels of thinking. That brings us to embrace innovation and divergent ideas in learning environment we create.
How can we have a powerful influence on our student?
How can we develop a sense of gravitas through the strategies we convey?
How can we offer opportunities to engage in hands-on learning?
What do we need to do to establish an authentic rapport with our students?
How can we design programmes, and teaching strategies that would align well with the skills for the future?
The future is ours to shape, so let’s roll-up our sleeves and fire up our brains to have strong individuals who can conquer the universe with their confidence and aptitude with the language they have harnessed.
