14th Lancaster Postgraduate Conference in Linguistics and Language Teaching

You are warmly invited to take part in the 14th Lancaster Postgraduate Conference in Linguistics and Language Teaching which will take place at Lancaster University, UK, on Thursday, 11 July 2019.

The conference is designed to give linguistics postgraduate students (both MA and PhD) from all over the world an opportunity to present and discuss their research in a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment.

Our keynote speakers this year are Professor Uta Papen and Professor Elena Semino.

The deadline for abstracts submission is 24 March, 2019. Abstracts should be submitted via a dedicated webform.

We welcome submissions on the following strands:
Corpus Linguistics
Critical Discourse Studies
Language and Cognition
Language Pedagogy
Literacy Studies (Reading, Writing, & Literature)
Multimodality/Visual Analysis/Semiotics
Pragmatics
Research Methodology
Second Language Acquisition/Language Acquisition

Stylistics
We are also happy to accept and consider abstracts on other topics not listed above.

Registration opens on 22 April, 2019.
