XVth International Mineral Processing Symposium will convene on October 19-21, 2016, in Istanbul by the hostship of Mineral Processing Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University.
This year we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of International Mineral Processing Symposium (IMPS). Such continuous activities can be only possible through concentric efforts and motivation which bring success. Turkey is a major contributor to the mineral processing through its Universities, mining and mineral processing plants and particularly the trained engineers circulating around the globe. Istanbul Technical University shares a major role in this endeavor as it is one of the few mineral processing engineering departments in the world. In this context, IMPS represents a technical platform for the safe and sustainable future of the mining and energy industries in Turkey. We are striving towards accelerating our target of taking place within the top 10 global economies and in this context mining is playing a critical role in this growth.
